New Year. New Content. New Beginning. AND A GIVEAWAY!

If there was an award for "worst blogger" in the book blog atmosphere, I might receive it due to not having updated in so long. However, I truly have been thinking about this blog and still check other blogs daily. Hell, I even have started several book reviews but I suffer from anxiety and let me just say that senior year + anxiety doesn't exactly allow for things to run a planned.

But my anxiety should calm now a lot because my first semester classes are over and I'll be done with my college applications soon. Although, I guess waiting for the colleges admissions letter to come will be hell (please pray that I get accepted into the colleges!). Anyway, I promise people, I'm back for good.

This year, I will be having a theme for just about every month with a month long giveaway. There isn't a particular theme for January because I feel that I just want to build my blog back up.

A little update.

Hello! I hope every who celebrates Thanksgiving had a great one! C:

Just some quick info for the readers of my blog...

• Katie at Sophistikatied reviews is working on making me a new blog header, layout, and blog button. From what I've seen so far, it looks amazing and so pretty!

• I haven't been updating as much as I've wanted to. But since I'm on Thanksgiving break (until Monday) I've been trying to complete all my school work + everything else I need to do and then catch up on a lot of reading. Here are some reviews you should expect within the next week or so: The Man of My Dreams, Random Magic, Something, Maybe, The Lovely Bones, and a few more. Also be expecting an interview with Tish Cohen (author of Little Black Lies)

• Will be hosting a contest for the month of December and be having my own coming up soon. Be watching the reviews, some of them will be used for extra entries. ;)

About the Blog:

Wicked Good Books was created on July 3, 2009. For years now, I have found so much pleasure and enjoyment in blogging. I blog about my personal life, sports, and so I decided that with my love for books, why not start a book blog?!

Not only do I accept ARCs, I accept books that are already out! You'll often see that I read a lot of books that have been out for a couple of years and not just new and upcoming books. In fact, if you'd like to see what books that are on my wishlist, check out my blog feature Books of the Past.

About Me:

My name is Bianca and I am currently 16 years old and starting my junior year of high school this fall. Aside from my love of books and blogging, I also love: The Boston Red Sox and Kansas City Royals; being involved in theatre and listening to Broadway musicals; finding new quotes and poems; cross country/running, soccer, swimming; playing tetris, geography games online and playing trivial pursuit; and being happy.

Some things to consider:

• I typically read Young Adult books, but I also enjoy reading Middle Grade, Adult novels that have a cross over appeal, and any fun 'how-to' or arts and craft book. Contemporary novels are probably my favorite.
• Books must be published though a publishing house, big or small.
• No eBooks. Sorry!!! I get major headaches if I read something for to longs on the computer screen theses days.
• I rarely read science fiction or historical fiction.

If I am reviewing your book for an upcoming tour or just receive a review copy, not only will I post it on amazon and goodreads, and I'll be more than happy to link your twitter and website page!
